- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across settings and ensure seamless transitions.
- Implement evidence-based nursing interventions to promote patient safety and outcomes.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with best practices.
This position is located in the Imaging and Procedure Center at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, Lower Level 2. Our state-of-the-art facility features innovative design and cutting-edge technology, including Iowa's first SOMATOM Drive computerized tomography system.
Requirements- Associate's Degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, or Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- PALS certification or obtained within 9 months of hire.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Recent experience in post-anesthesia (PACU) or Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU).
- Skilled in IV access and delivery of high-risk medication.
