Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at MetroHealth's Correctional Medicine Department. The ideal candidate will have experience working with incarcerated populations and be able to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves providing nursing care to patients in a correctional facility. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' medical needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and conducting wound care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and tuition reimbursement.
