Job Summary

As a Certified Caregiver, you will provide direct patient care, medication management, and daily living assistance to our residents. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the care team
  • Work effectively as a team member with other care providers to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming living space for residents
  • Assist residents in participating in activities and provide activities as assigned
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, staff, and outside agencies
  • Perform household chores, such as laundry, dishes, and cleaning
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with the senior population
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Current Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Free of TB (prior to start)
  • Current Food Handlers card or obtain within 20 days of employment
  • Attend at least 6 hours of care-related education per year
