Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
    • New York State Teaching Certification in Science Education (grades 6-8)
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of teaching experience in a middle school setting
    • Experience with culturally responsive teaching practices and restorative justice
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong knowledge of science content and pedagogy
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
