Job Summary

Ryder System Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Load and unload freight as required by customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of trips and deliveries
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
