Program Assistant for Agnor Hurt Center

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Aide to join our team at Community Development Institute Head Start. As a Program Aide, you will assist in facilitating classroom activities, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing classroom activities, including field trips and lesson planning.
- Provide support in classroom maintenance, including cleaning and organization.
- Assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No previous education or experience is required, unless otherwise specified by local or state regulations.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
