Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to work in our Health Services Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including taking and recording patient history, vital signs, and making appointments.
- Assist staff clinicians in routine clinical activities, such as drawing and processing blood, performing venipuncture, and collecting and processing urinalysis and point of care tests.
- Assist with completing In-Transit medical record forms and maintaining patient records.
- Administer medications, including vaccinations, and ensure cleanliness and resupply of pill line areas.
- Perform nursing care in a manner that demonstrates respect for a patient's dignity, personal preference, or culture.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Must be certified by and maintain unrestricted LPN License in the state of Texas.
- Have at least six months of experience.
- Have a current Basic Life Saver (BLS) certification, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
