Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented researcher to contribute to our understanding of innate epithelial immune responses to intracellular pathogens. The successful candidate will design and execute complex research studies, procedures, and protocols, and participate in discovery projects.

- Oversee organization, synthesis, and analysis of data and findings
- Prepare scientific reports, outcome findings, and scientific manuscripts
- Participate in meetings with the principal investigator and research staff to evaluate and interpret data, develop methodologies, and design and evaluate lab procedures
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in genetics, cell biology, immunology, or a related field, and have experience with standard molecular biology, biochemical, and imaging techniques. A history of strong research productivity, independent experimental design, scientific creativity, and effective communication skills are essential.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with C. elegans is highly preferred but not required. Prior laboratory mentorship of graduate and/or undergraduate students is highly desired and considered favorably.
