  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices in the field

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an educational program for physician assistants or surgeon assistants accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
  • One year of training in the appropriate specialty
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is recommended
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas
