Job Summary

The Phlebotomist role at Actalent involves assisting in the performance of various assigned duties, troubleshooting, training, and making workflow recommendations. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures
  • Label and transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis
  • Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 6+ months experience as a Phlebotomist
  • Preferred Hospital Experience
  • Ability to work weekends
