Job Summary

The Perioperative Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care in the perioperative services department. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical procedures and the ability to manage the surgical patient. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center environment and be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications
