Cashier (PT) (VFE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Vallarta Supermarkets. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate the cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
• Identify and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of English language, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Basic understanding of Spanish language, reading, writing, and speaking a plus.
