We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team at Allied Digestive Health in Albany, NY. This position requires the ability to work effectively in an outpatient and inpatient setting, managing patient health issues and ensuring seamless care coordination.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment plans. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing patient health problems and coordinating healthcare within an outpatient and inpatient setting
* Demonstrating strong primary care or hospitalist experience
* Maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
* Providing exceptional patient service and communication abilities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong knowledge of gastroenterology principles and practices
* Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
* Ability to multitask with a sharp attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skills
* Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and MS Office
Education and Experience Required:
This position requires:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
* Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in New York State
* Current DEA certificate
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
