Job Title: IOT Platform Engineer

Caresoft Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IOT Platform Engineer to join our team. As an IOT Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for developing lab frameworks to connect IOT end points to campus/branch networks and certifying the underlying hardware, software features, and end point functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop lab frameworks to connect IOT end points to campus/branch networks
  • Certify underlying hardware, software features, and end point functionality
  • Identify various communication scenarios between end and edge devices
  • Create and execute testing of data gathering, aggregation, and analytics capabilities
  • Collaborate with different teams, strong network engineers, and higher management
Requirements:
  • Experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and certification
  • CCIE Certification (Lab) and Level 3 experience in Enterprise environment
  • Experience with building Lab designs, and certification of hardware and software of products, performing PoCs
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSEC, QoS, L2/L3 VXLAN, Multicast, and Switching
  • Very good knowledge & experience of Software Defined Access, LISP, VXLAN, SD-WAN Cisco DNA Center, and Cisco ISE
  • Knowledge on the IOT End points, Communication modules, IOT deployment/administration experience
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco IOS-XE, Nexus Devices
  • Python Network programming knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge in Agile process is required
  • Experience in using test tools like Ixia/Spirent, Latency generators, Wireshark
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Basic Knowledge of Firewalls
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with Network and Security teams, and vendors
  • Ability to deal with multiple projects and prioritize the tasks and work under minimal supervision
