Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing individualized patient care programs, and administering treatments to help patients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
  • Administer treatments, including speech therapy and swallowing exercises
  • Provide written and verbal reports to physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in in-service education programs and stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in speech and swallowing disorders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • 2+ years of pediatric SLP experience
  • Pediatric and adult experience
  • Able to obtain BLS certification prior to start
  • Float between Marshall Rehab and Coldwater Rehab
Certification and Licensure
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • State of Michigan licensure
