Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and other workers on construction sites.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
- Implement and enforce all company and site-specific safety policies.
- Evaluate blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work, required contents of the material, and cost.
- Monitor the acquisition of materials and equipment necessary for projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work phases and tasks.
- Review, interpret, and implement electrical specifications and regulations.
- Coordinate with utility companies for the relocation or installation of services.
- Conduct quality control and safety inspections, providing feedback to the construction team.
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proven experience supervising and coordinating the activities of a team.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in using electrical and construction software.
- Certified Electrical Supervisor or similar license would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
