Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at The Physical Therapy Institute. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals through physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to patients on techniques such as balance training
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
Requirements
  • Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania
  • Indirect supervision license preferred but not required
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, carrying, and pushing loads
