Automotive Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team at Sanitary Equipment Company Inc. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, and maintaining electrical equipment for municipal and truck equipment.

• Install new vehicle wiring systems
• Install and troubleshoot existing OEM equipment systems
• Gather information from customers about issues with their electrical system
• Diagnose electrical issues and propose a course of action
• Repair and replace faulty wiring or electrical systems
• Servicing and repairing electrical systems of equipment/truck electrical parts
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Complete job reports and process paperwork

• High school diploma and auto electrical qualification certificate
• Proven work experience as an auto electrician
• Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long periods
• Ability to distinguish subtle color variations
