Smith Chason College is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Instructor for VN Fundamentals to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and guidance to students in their pursuit of becoming skilled and caring nurses.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught and possess a related degree at least at the same level as the course the faculty member is teaching. They will also have strong technical skills, including all computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills.
The Clinical Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, optimizing instructional resources, and setting clear expectations for students. They will also provide instructions and demonstrations on nursing practices and patient care using current references and handbooks.
The successful candidate will be able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time, move objects up to 25 lbs, and have sufficient hearing and speaking ability to communicate in person or on the phone/computer with others.
