Overview:

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver safe and effective clinical care.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong willingness to learn, and understand the importance of delivering compassionate care to patients with surgical and nonsurgical conditions.

Our Surgical Unit has 32 beds and offers a dynamic and supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of individualized care plans for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement care strategies and prioritize patient needs
  • Delegate tasks safely and provide direct and indirect nursing care
  • Perform additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field preferred
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation

Compensation and Benefits:

Norman Regional Health System offers a competitive hourly rate of $27.74-$45.46, depending on previous work experience.
