Our Units

We have several units at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, each with its own unique focus and opportunities:

Lerner Tower 3

This 30-bed adult telemetry unit serves primarily post-op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. We also have six beds dedicated to medical or surgical stepdown unit care.

Lerner Tower 5

This 30-bed unit focuses on medical management of high-risk cardiac conditions. We have a stepdown focus area with nine beds, where we provide high-level, frequent assessment and monitoring.

Lerner Tower 7

This 30-bed telemetry unit specializes in the care of heart and vascular patients. We focus on vascular surgery, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology, including care for TAVR patients.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of RN experience (preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of the nursing process and practice
  • Ability to use a wide variety of technical equipment

Education and Credentials

You'll need:

  • Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice in the state of Ohio
  • Current BLS Provider Certification (American Heart Association)
