Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within the distribution center. This role includes physical and systematic receiving, picking, and quality assurance to ensure that all products align with orders. The position requires significant physical effort, including the ability to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively and maintain stamina for extended periods.



Key Responsibilities

- **Receiving Inventory:** Unload delivery trucks, inspect items for damage, and verify that product codes, serial numbers, and quantities match the packing slip. Utilize handheld scanners to log items into the system and generate barcode labels for third-party products.
- **Order Fulfillment:** Release and process orders on a scheduled basis, ensuring all items are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. Verify serialized items and accessory quantities before processing them for installation.
- **Shipping Operations:** Operate UPS Worldship software to manage shipping logistics, ensuring compliance with special instructions and cost-effective delivery methods.
- **Inventory Management:** Assist in conducting physical inventories, recording stock levels, and identifying discrepancies. Process returns and manage RMAs efficiently.
- **Warehouse Maintenance:** Uphold cleanliness and organization standards within the warehouse, ensuring safety protocols are followed. This includes managing waste disposal and maintaining work areas throughout the day.



Qualifications

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, with less than one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is advantageous.
- Must possess the ability to learn new software and computer skills quickly.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and operate a forklift safely.
- Dependable, with a strong ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively.
