About This Position

We're seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team at Spencer County Schools as a Student Worker. This role offers a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience, develop their skills, and contribute to the success of our school community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and staff
  • Support the creation of a positive school environment that aligns with our vision for Spencer County Schools
  • Participate in student leadership development programs and professional networking opportunities
  • Perform general light utility work, custodial services, food services, or clerical tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Student enrolled in Spencer County High School or Hillview Academy
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional growth
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job

Working Conditions

  • Work performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
