We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Primrose Schools. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals to our students. Your expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management will help us provide a safe and healthy environment for our children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our students
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and supplies to maintain efficient operations
- Collaborate with our nutrition team to ensure compliance with nutritional standards and regulations
- Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Develop and maintain relationships with food vendors and suppliers
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and kitchen operations to achieve budget goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
- Proven track record of menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
