About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Platform Software Engineer to join our team at CCRi Inc. As a key member of our core product team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of situational awareness capabilities for our customers.

As a Senior Frontend Platform Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software applications that process petabytes of data from various streaming data sources in near real-time. You will work closely with our team to develop innovative solutions that extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop enterprise-wide end-user, system-level, and data management software applications
  • Guide the successful completion of programs and function in a project leadership role
  • Evaluate integration of software applications with the overall computing environment
  • Communicate with domain experts, users, and management throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Represent the company as the prime technical contact on contracts and/or projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Seven or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, four or more years with a master's degree, or two or more years with a PhD
  • Extensive expertise in software development concepts, principles, and theory
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and communicate new concepts and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong React familiarity or experience with other JS frameworks
  • Experience writing in TypeScript
  • Experience with CSS pre-processors
  • Experience with data visualization tools/toolkits such as d3 or similar libraries
  • Experience developing map-based applications using OpenLayers, Leaflet, Google Maps, etc.
