Responsibilities

  • Preparation of patients for cardiac stress testing procedures
  • Assess patient's blood pressure, pulse, respirations, lung sounds, and establish I.V. access using aseptic technique
  • Set up and monitor patient through 12-lead EKG stress testing, including application of 12-lead wires and electrodes and rhythm identification, interpretation, and management
  • Preparation of pharmacological stress agents, dose calculation, and administration
  • Under the direct supervision of the site physician, initiate BCLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms and events
  • Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality testing
  • Accurately document patient test results and patient medical history using EMR
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service at all times
  • Travel to client sites as scheduled
