Job Summary:
Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to provide high-quality psychological services at correctional facilities in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of offenders to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide behavioral training services to offenders to promote positive behavior and reduce recidivism.
- Lead individual and group counseling sessions to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaborate with facility staff and outside treatment agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
- Interpret psychological assessment results to inform treatment decisions and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Meet the obligations of scheduled assignments and perform additional duties as requested by the facility.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a psychologist in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Masters degree in psychology with a focus on clinical psychology.
Work Environment:
This is a contract position with a leading correctional healthcare provider. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
