Job Title: Engineering Project Manager

As a key member of our team, the Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from purchase order to customer's substantial completion. This role requires collaboration with designers, engineers, procurement, planners, and others throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review specifications, purchase orders, and customer requirements to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Create and maintain open orders project management files for use and reference by other team members and departments.
  • Work closely with mechanical design, electrical design, controller programming, and technical documentation teams to set expectations for submittal and equipment delivery.
  • Coordinate with order management project managers to forecast shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Responsible for submittal on-time-delivery metric for solids removal projects.
  • Maintain close contact with manufacturer's representatives, sales managers, and customers regarding project status, including delays and significant changes.
  • Coordinate with production to determine projected ship dates and ensure alignment with customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience with 2-D & 3-D drafting software (Inventor preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects, make quick decisions, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using project management software.
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).
  • Highly self-motivated, flexible, reliable, and strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding business etiquette skills.
  • Knowledge of products and technologies, including current and potential applications.
  • Ability to interact with JWC Directors, V.P.s, and President to communicate market trends and concerns.
  • Attention to detail.
