Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our armored transportation routes, terminals, and vaults. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, and safety, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, interview, test, select, and train operations personnel, as well as develop and implement training programs for operations supervisors.
  • Operations Oversight: Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through respective managers/supervisors.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment, and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the security of employees, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control the costs of operations, including overtime hours and employee vacation schedules.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain customer service capabilities among operations staff, and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Short and Long-Range Planning: Develop and implement short and long-range operational plans to meet branch goals and objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory statutes involving DOT, OSHA, and EPA.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in logistics or transportation
  • College education or military experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of safety and security experience a plus
