Job Summary

Conifer Park Inc. is seeking a skilled Dietary Assistant to support our inpatient facility in Glenville, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting up food service stations and sanitation areas in the kitchen and dining room
  • Ensuring stock is stored properly and cleaning, rotating, and organizing storage areas
  • Assembling and delivering supplies and trays to admissions, crisis unit, and patient care units as needed
  • Following labeling and dating procedures, adhering to portion control guidelines, and using appropriate serving utensils
  • Satisfactorily completing and signing off on designated assignments daily
  • Utilizing, cleaning, and maintaining the 3-compartment sink/dish machine
  • Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning for special functions as needed
  • Assisting other dietary staff as needed and assisting in the orientation and training of new hires

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in food service and/or food preparation
  • Vocational/Technical school in a related field; Spanish speaking a plus
