Are you a customer service enthusiast with a passion for sales and a notary public license? We are currently seeking a Full-Time Center Associate with Notary Public License to join our team at The UPS Store Meadowmont #6209.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Center Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of products and services, including shipping, packaging, and document services.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell, sell, sell – You will learn the various benefits for products and services.
  • Sales: Confidently explain various products and services. This includes upselling and cross selling products to the customer at hand. You will be the expert and customers will look to you for answers.
  • Package Services: Perform estimates and pack high value & fragile contents for shipping per training methods. Help customers select moving supplies.
  • Shipping Services: Receive & process packages for US Post Office, UPS or Freight services including lifting & weighing packages on scale, accessing CMS shipping software, generating labels, providing receipts & tracking information to customers.
  • Document Services: Operate binding, laminating, fax, digital printers, computers and other machines in a safe & efficient. Help customers select business cards, stationery, imprinted products, etc.
  • Mailbox Services: Explain mailbox service rates, benefits and the mailbox services agreement. Receive, log in, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately. Forward mail per customer instructions.
  • Opening/Closing Procedures: Turn-on / Login to systems, tend to various tasks to open/close the store in accordance with store procedures.
  • Cleaning & Upkeep: Vacuum, sweep, dust, wipe, shine. Everyone on the team works on keeping the store clean and debris free.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales background is a huge plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time required.
  • Notary license preferred, if not, willing to get your license.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook.
  • High school education or GED equivalent required.
  • Computer skills need to be strong.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bonus – working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
