Avera St. Mary's has been recognized as a Top 20 Rural Community Hospital.Job Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patients with a range of conditions, from minor to critical.
Deliver stabilization and emergency interventions for patients, including specialized procedures such as triage, assistance with orthopedic and cardiac procedures, ear, nose, and throat interventions, wound care, and management of psychiatric emergencies.
Conduct comprehensive admission assessments to identify both physical and psychosocial patient needs. Prioritize and plan nursing care delivery effectively. Monitor and evaluate patient symptoms, responses, and progress. Document and communicate findings to physicians as necessary.Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of South Dakota. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Work Schedule:
Varied shifts; PRN, with occasional weekend and holiday responsibilities.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, starting at $46.50 per hour.
