CNC Machinist and Programming Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our team at Technimark LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Turning Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program CNC Lathes for machining new jobs and repair work
  • Set up CNC Lathes after programming
  • Remove finished components and install new components for machining
  • Maintain quality and accuracy of machined parts
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company safety standards
  • Assist with machine maintenance as needed
  • Disassemble, clean, and assist in assembly when required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Trade school and/or 6+ years mold making and machining experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience programming in Surf-Cam or equivalent CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
  • Experience turning hardened tool steels
  • Capable of holding tight tolerances on injection mold components
  • Capable of programming and machining complex 3D surfaces
  • Experience with live tooling is preferred but not required

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
