Carpentry Specialist

North Fork Builders is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to residential and commercial construction, including framing, trim work, and siding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Framing, including wall, floor, and roof framing
• Trim work, including installation of doors and windows
• Siding installation
• Log and timber work

Requirements:

• Knowledge of various carpentry techniques, including framing, trim work, and siding
• Specialized skills in log and timber work, scribing, coping, and timber framing are a plus
• Ability to operate machinery and tools, including forklift, skid steer, planer, table saw, chainsaws, and transfer log scribes
• Ownership of and ability to operate hand and power tools
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

As a Carpenter with North Fork Builders, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial construction sites. You will be exposed to varying weather conditions and may work at heights.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in carpentry or a related field
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
