Nursing Services Supervisor Job Description

TMC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Services Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure that residents receive timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to promote a culture of excellence in nursing care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor the quality of care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a LPN in a long-term care setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
