Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their speech and language skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met and provide speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices through continued education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Washington Teaching certification is required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous school-based experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
