Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Edgemont Healthcare Staffing. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

This MRI Technologist position is a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a short-term acute care setting and be comfortable with floating between units. The shift will be 12 hours, days and nights, with weekends required on Thursday-Saturday from 6:30pm-7am.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist patients with preparation and positioning for MRI procedures
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements:
  • Current MRI Technologist licensure and certification
  • Experience working in a short-term acute care setting
  • Ability to float between units
  • Comfortable working weekends and varying shifts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
