A typical day in this role involves:

  1. Reviewing project scopes and transitioning them from estimation to operations
  2. Coordinating with the office to ensure preliminary notices have been sent, insurance certificates have been received, and plans have been printed
  3. Managing costs of labor, equipment, and materials to ensure the project stays within budget and meets quality standards
  4. Developing and monitoring schedules for plumbing projects
  5. Scheduling site visits to oversee project advancement

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • A Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read blueprints
  • Advanced computer skills, proficiency with MS Word, Outlook & Excel
  • Experience with bluebeam, procore, and QuickBook preferred
