Monterey Ranch is a 1072-unit apartment community located in south Austin, TX. The community offers a range of amenities, including 5 swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, 2 tennis courts, a soccer field, and a community center with a movie theater.

About the Role

Northland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance service requests and work orders, including HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items. This role will also be responsible for completing apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner while working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of appliances, fixtures, and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complete apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins, including cleaning and preparing units for new residents
  • Work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors to ensure excellent customer service
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, to handle after-hours emergency calls
Requirements
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors
  • Ability to work nights and weekend shifts as part of on-call responsibility
