A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse (RN)

As an RN, you will play a key role in assessing the needs of our patients to create and implement their plan of care. In accordance with evidence-based practices, state and federal regulations, and our company's policies, you will serve as a case manager for assigned patients.

Responsibilities
  • Actively manage the patient's treatment and needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the effective integration of information.
  • Take action to ensure that infection control standards are maintained and stay educated on a variety of high-tech skills, including IV use and maintenance, wound VAC, and complex wound care.
  • Carry out visits with patients in a timely manner and ensure that patients and caregivers are educated on health matters.
  • Coordinate with a wide variety of physicians, providers, team members, and vendors in order to fulfill the recommended plan of care.
  • Assist with any patient discharges or transfers and complete all the correct paperwork and reports.
Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a license and 2+ years of nursing experience. If you enjoy helping people, are able to display flexibility, can balance multiple tasks at once while demonstrating good time management, are willing to take the initiative, and can get the job done with minimal supervision, you might be perfect for this home health nursing and hospice care position.

This Registered Nurse (RN) position offers flexible hours, allowing our clinicians to create their daily schedule to meet the needs of their clients, prioritize their personal and family needs, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
