About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a well-equipped facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
About the Facility
The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with a diverse patient population, including common emergency cases such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and altered mental status. The emergency department is fully staffed with experienced RNs and has 32 hours of APP coverage per day.
