Join the Addison Park District team as a Before and After School Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to transport children participating in our Before and After School Care program to and from local schools. As a Before and After School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of our program participants, adhering to all policies and procedures, and promoting a positive work environment.

• Transport children participating in the Before and After School Care program to and from local schools.
• Assist with entering schools to check in and out program participants as needed.
• Review daily sheets and routes to ensure all children are present.
• Perform safety inspections on the bus before and after each use.
• Ensure the bus is cleared of snow or debris during seasonal weather.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the Recreation Supervisor.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Successfully passed a criminal and state driving record review.
• CPR/First aid certified upon hire.
• Successfully passed a post-offer physical exam, including vision screening for company vehicle use.

The work area is both indoors and outdoors, in a smoke-free environment with controlled temperature and fluorescent lighting. You will be required to sit frequently while operating a motor vehicle and may need to walk outside the vehicle into schools.
