Role Summary:
As an Evening Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision components and instruments. This role encompasses precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. You may also be tasked with fabricating and modifying parts to create or repair machine tools, utilizing your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Machine Operation:** Operate basic equipment and machines while performing routine tasks efficiently.
2. **Operational Management:** Execute operational tasks by adhering to established processes.
3. **Equipment Maintenance:** Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment by preparing and providing necessary support.
4. **Compliance:** Follow mandatory procedures to ensure work meets required quality standards and adheres to regulatory codes.
5. **Precision Measurement:** Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges effectively.
6. **Policy Adherence:** Work under guidance to comprehend policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair setting, specifically with manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
