Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the Position
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and supervising medical students, Ob/Gyn residents, and MFM fellows
- Participating in formal curriculum development and implementation
- Managing clinical operations in an MFM practice, including out-patient consultations, obstetrical ultrasound, antenatal testing, and prenatal genetic diagnosis
- Providing in-patient consultation and obstetrical care at Pennsylvania Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
- Mentoring resident and MFM fellow research projects and participating in clinical trials
Requirements
- Expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Proficiency in obstetrical ultrasound
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certification or active candidacy for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty training in maternal fetal medicine
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing clinical operations in an MFM practice
- Leadership experience within a division
