Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Master Machinist to join our team at Manpower Skilled Technical. As a CNC Master Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multiple machines simultaneously, checking parts to maintain quality production, and training/assisting other team members on tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate multiple machines simultaneously, including Mill Turn and Swiss machines, to produce high-quality parts.
  • Quality Control: Check parts to maintain quality production and ensure that output meets or exceeds established standards.
  • Training and Assistance: Train and assist other team members on tasks as required, including setting up and operating machines.
  • Manual Tasks: Perform regular manual tasks, including reading and interpreting drawings, and using manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups of certain job operations.
  • Machine Shop Planning: Understand the basics of machine shop/material planning and be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Requirements
  • Experience: Mill Turn and Swiss machine knowledge and experience required.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of various CNC lathe/mills machining, including set-ups and programming fundamentals.
  • Manual Dexterity: Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently perform pre-setups or set-ups of certain job operations on Mill Turn, Swiss, and CNC lathes/mills.
  • First Piece Inspection Stamp: Must have, or obtain, first piece inspection stamp.
  • Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Teamwork: Be team-oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability.
