About the Role

Spectrum, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced Sales and Revenue Growth Specialist to join its team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell primary and ancillary communications solutions, including coax delivered Internet, video, and voice services.
  • Prospect for new customers and achieve sales and revenue goals through successful lead generation and conversion.
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities and develop strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department's Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience in a high transaction, short closing cycle model.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
