Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Act as a patient advocate, addressing concerns and needs in a compassionate and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • AWHONN Fetal monitoring validation within 6 months of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience, or completion of Labor and Delivery course at Southern Hills Hospital.
