Job Title: Driver, Class A

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver, Class A to join our team at Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver products within assigned route schedule and time windows
  • Unload products from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required, and turn in all funds collected daily
  • Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and complete necessary paperwork
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of CDL driving experience
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
