Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and maintain essential food and supply levels to support the Food Service Department's operations.
  • Ensure proper storage of food and supplies in accordance with departmental guidelines to prevent spoilage.
  • Document and monitor storage temperatures for perishable items to meet safety standards.
  • Label, date, and rotate stock following the first-in, first-out principle.
  • Order food and supplies based on established specifications and protocols.
  • Secure areas to prevent theft and ensure safety of chemicals and equipment, adhering to all security measures.
  • Transport food and supplies safely using appropriate containers or vehicles.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines for receiving and distributing food to maintain quality and safety.
  • Report maintenance needs for equipment to the appropriate channels.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner as per corporate policies.
  • Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following recommended guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
