Framing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Framing Specialist to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building customer relationships, and creating memorable framing solutions.

• Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment for customers
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
• Execute Company policies and standards
• Deliver sales and production results
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they are looking for
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
• Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter
• Retail experience and experience selling products and/or services to customers
• Physical ability to move throughout the store, remain standing for long periods, and lift heavy boxes and frames

Our store is a public retail setting with climate-controlled areas. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
